In order to add a thread choose the "New Thread" button. To respond to an existing thread choose the "Read More" button and you should see a "Reply" button. Help with TCC code for 1095-C

For those of you that file 1095-C's with the IRS, did you apply for a new TCC code? One of my coworkers who files the 1099's had to file for, and get a new TCC to submit to the IRS FIRE system. As the 1095-C's are filed on the IRS AIR system, I'm wondering if we don't need a new TCC code? I tried to apply for one, and after many attempts, I got the following error; "This firm's EIN is already in use on another ACA TCC application". I would think if my TCC had expired, like those that did for FIRE filers, I wouldn't have received that error? The deadline to file is 3/31/24, but if I need a new TCC code, I need to do that pronto. I signed in to the AIR system, and was able to view last year's filing fine, under my current TCC code.

We did not, and successfully filed directly from Workday.
