NYS Exempt salary Minimum req.

I am aware minimum wage went up for 2022. When I was doing some research I saw that as of 12/31/2022, exempt salaried individuals outside of Remainder of state (outside of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties)now have to make a minimum of $990.00 per week($51,480) per year. Is this true? I see it under the wage Minimum order however, I want to ensure I am reading it correctly. The person in question is a store manager, exempt and over see's 2 employees while being responsible for the store and profits. Thanks in advance

Yes, that is accurate. Based on the position the store manager would fall under the NYS exemption status.
