NY SHRM Conference

Good Morning, Has anyone attended the NY SHRM conference in the past? There is no information about the topics and I want to make sure it's valuable before deciding to sign up myself and staff.

I asked the same question. I received the following response from the NYS SHRM Conference Registrar: While the keynotes for the conference have been scheduled and announced, the concurrent sessions are still in process of being set up. As soon as that information is available, it will be made available. In the meantime, you can register for the conference and reserve your place at the early bird rate. Then when the program is finalized, you will be notified to make your concurrent session selections. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Hi Laura, I only attend when the conference is in town, but it's definitely worth the time and money. One of the keynotes this year is Kelly Merbler, and her presentations are awesome. She uses Clifton Strengths to explain how to accentuate your employees strengths, not weaknesses. I've found it particularly helpful myself, and it's one of the tools my boss used to hire me. If you or any of your staff are certified, there will be plenty of credits to apply to recertification. Feel free to reach out with additional questions.
