Holiday gifts/celebrations

Just wondering if anyone can share creative or fun ideas/gifts they are planning for employees during the Holidays, seeing as probably most are not doing holiday parties. Thank you!

No... Definitely no party this year. Instead we've opted for a gift of a nice quality picnic blanket and cooler set, with a gift card inside the cooler, for all employees. At Thanksgiving, we provided all of our employees with Turkey's or a Ham along with a gift card for groceries. So many are having a hard time making ends meet so we're just trying to ensure they had a bountiful holiday.

SHRM had a SHRM's HR Week email that was distributed dtd 9 Nov 2020 with an article titled: Employers Find Ways to Celebrate Holidays, Employees During Pandemic. If you do not have access let me know.

In lieu of a Holiday Party we are doing a silent auction with raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are given based on year of service and if you donate to Shoeboxes for Seniors. We are also doing gift cards to local restaurants for all employees. We are doing fun items like a day of PTO or the president has to die his hair :)
